Rule 4
Registration and re-registration fee

(1) The following fee will be required to register with the Council as a health practitioner:-
(a) Two thousand rupees for specific level,
(b) One thousand five hundred rupees for the first level,
(c) One thousand rupees for the second level,
(d) Seven hundred rupees for the third level.
(1A) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), a person who has received an academic degree or training from a foreign educational institution shall be required to pay the following fee for registration as a health practitioner in the council:-
(a) Four thousand rupees for specific level,
(b) Three thousand rupees for the first level,
(c) Two thousand rupees for the second level,
(d) One thousand five hundred rupees for the third level.
(1b) According to sub-rules (1) and (1a) on the recommendation of the Dastur Parishad, the Government of Nepal may make changes by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(2) In case of violation of professional conduct according to rule 13 or if the name is removed from the register book of the council after the name has been registered according to section 19 of the act, if the name has to be re-registered, the same registration fee as the initial name registration fee shall be submitted.
(3) If a non-Nepali citizen wants to register his name in the Council as a health practitioner, he shall pay double the fee as per sub-rule (1A).
